I filmed this Asahi Super Dry commercial in Tokyo. Luke Huxham was the Director.

This excellent Behind the Scenes Film was made by Edward Khoma.

Studio

Studio street set.

Rooftop bar set.

Gen Ito 1st AC and Yudai Sato Grip.

Nissan X-Trail

Director Takeshi Asai asked me to DP this winter commercial for Nissan Japan. Line Produced by Jeremy from Red Sneakers.

I used a Can-Am Tracking buggy with my MoVI XL and Black Arm.

I decided to shoot on Red Dragon camera's.

Aerial shots were operated by myself, and piloted by Josh Dunn from Overview.nz

I also used a Phantom Flex 4k shooting at 1000fps for some of the action.

Vera Blue 'Regular Touch'

Director Benn Jae asked me to be the DP for this music video for Vera Blue.

We filmed it all in one day in Cardrona, New Zealand. I shot on my two Red Dragon cameras. Running two different sizes on most takes.

I also had the drone team from Overview.nz filming with the DJI Inspire 2 drone and X5S RAW Camera. It cut in perfectly with the Red footage.

It was a really fun shoot with an excellent small team. I think that we can all be proud of the released clip.

'Small, but powerful'

Filmed over two days. I used a Russian Arm for the tracking shots.

The concert scene was fun to light, and I shot it with a GF-8 crane and a flight head.

I ran two sets in the studio, pre-lighting the rev counter shot, while I was shooting the bathroom scene.

The wake boarding was filmed with a flight head… on a very small boat.

I used a Phantom Flex 4K for the slow motion water shots.

It was another great shoot with Director Jem Chen.

This project was filmed to promote the new apartment building "The River One" designed by Richard Rogers from Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners.

I shot on Arri Alexa Mini's with Master Primes, and made extensive use of the Freefly MoVI Pro.

Directed by Jem Chen, we shot over two days.

I filmed the time lapses using my Fuji T2, a Canon 5D, and also some were shot on the Alexa Mini.

We had access to a Ferrari for one of the scenes.

I worked in closely with Shannon, my drone operator.

It was a really fun shoot, with a great crew!

ASICS

Here is a really fun commercial that I was the DP for, filmed recently in Queenstown, New Zealand.

It was Directed by Myles Conti, and Produced by Conti Bros Films.

I filmed it using two cameras. A Red Weapon 6K was mounted in the MoVI M15 on the tracking buggy.

A Red Dragon 6K was kept in Production mode, so that I could move quickly between the set ups.

Drone filming was performed by Queenstown based Overview using a DJI Inspire 2 filming in 5.2K RAW. The drone images cut in perfectly with the Red cameras.

It was a cold tough environment for the crew to work in, and even tougher on our athletes who had to run up the hill all day. A massive credit to them!

Suzuki

Directed by Jem Chen.

I filmed primarily with Arri Alexa cameras.

Using an Alexa Mini as my main production camera, and an Alexa XT on the Scorpio Arm with Flight Head.

I also used a Phantom Flex 4k at 1000fps for the super slow motion shots.

Drone shots were handled by Shannon with his DJI Inspire 2 Kit.

It was a terrific shoot. The entire crew was excellent to work with.
